Dolly Parton Offers to Adopt Abandoned Dog
- in Latest
Dolly Parton has offered to adopt a dog that was abandoned in a tent in Glastonbury if no one comes forward to claim it.
The dog was found by clean-up workers following the festival and was named after the country star who headlined the pyramid stage.
"I had my manager call the Happy Landings animal shelter to make sure the dog is being treated and cared for properly," the 68-year-old singer explained.
"At this time, nobody has claimed the dog and the dog is in great hands at the shelter. I will take her home to America if nobody claims her within a reasonable amount of time."
The animal shelter who is now caring for Dolly the dog apparently received many calls from concerned members of the public who saw the dog in the hot tent with food but no water.
