- in Latest
Belvidere, NJ – Bongo Boy Rock n’ Roll a television show spotlighting indie music videos, interviews and more heads into its fourth successful season now with a different format of their halfhour TV shows. The increasingly crowded field of new media outlets available to music creators, which is considered to be the best vehicle to get your music to the masses like Radio, Twitter, MySpace or Facebook, made BBRRTV focus all their resources in good old reliable Broadcast TV the last three years.
In 2009, BMI/Grammy member Gar Francis together with musicologist Monique Grimme as co-producer launched successfully Bongo Boy Rock n’ Roll TV, a television show series that spotlights independent music videos, interviews, news and advice. The halfhour, which goes into its fourth year, is filling a void with their new format that MTV and VH1 once dominated.
BBTV has set out to refresh and remake the music television experience by making it current and relevant to today's media savvy audience. After 3 years, the show has developed a substantial television and online audience. BBTV has grown to a distribution on 23 TV channels across towns in the USA with more than 4.1 million cable subscribers and broadcast times of over 191 per episode.
Starting with their May’s episode, the new formatted TV show series focus on music that orientates in educating the viewers about upcoming indie artists and their quest to greater success. Each TV episode will be dedicated to exposing the arts to new and old fans alike by featuring original music videos from around the world from talented indie artists. The TV show series will also produce TV specials with sit down guests’ interviews in their studio SHOWTIME in New Jersey.
BBTV is just like awesome MTV without soap operas and reality shows, indie bands and solo artists with HD music videos can now be on real Television. “Indie Music Videos from Around The World” on BBTV is not WebTV. Promoting your music 191 times during one month on USA Public Access Comcast, Cablevision, Network Television is easy by becoming a sponsor of Bongo Boy TV Show.
