X-Factor Star Wagner Claiming Benefits?
- in Latest
Wagner, the 54 year old Brazilian star of the talent show X-Factor, is reportedly claiming Incapacity Benefit, and has been for about a year due to a shoulder injury. X-Factor bosses say that he was checked over by a doctor before going on the show and was deemed medically fit to perform. Judging by his energetic performances and his dedication to the rather attractive dancing girls that normally surround him, his shoulder is not causing him too much pain.
Wagner’s performances have been more or less identical since the finals started a month ago, and are based around a cabaret theme.
If it is true and Wagner has been receiving benefits, he would have been paid around £90 per week.
The Department of Work and Pensions, have said that a person’s readiness for work is likely to change overtime and are always subject to review. They were keen to point out that they could not comment on an individual’s case.
Despite the X-Factor’s live audience constantly booing the pony tailed star, he is yet to face a sing off or indeed negative criticism from any of the judges.
He is not really thought of a contender to win the whole show.
