(Port Neches, TX) - Earlier this year, Alternative Press premiered the song "Courier" from Texas metalcore band Invent, Animate's mini EP Native Intellect. Today, AP and the band bring you another new song, this time from their debut album Everchanger. The track is called "Naturehold" and features vocals from Jesse Cash of the band ERRA. Cash not only lends his talents to this song, but also assisted in production of the record alongside Brian Hood at 456 Recordings.

The complex, but fluid guitar work of "Naturehold" accompanies Jesse's signature clean vocals. The song provides an onslaught of sound in the verses that lead up to the anthemic chorus.

Invent, Animate are on "THE HEAVIER THAN HEAVY TOUR" presented by MerchNow and features I Declare War, Oceano, The Last Ten Seconds of Life, and Barrier. Special VIP ticket packages are on sale now via Soundrink where fans can get a ticket, VIP laminate, and a custom screen printed poster, all for just $25.

About Invent, Animate:

“With so much metalcore out these days, the best thing to do is be fresh. Invent, Animate does this,” says music critic Mike Bohn who reviewed the band's first EP Waves. “They do a lot more than other bands out there and they do it well.”

Creating an idea and bringing it to life is what inspired the progressive metalcore band Invent, Animate to pursue their passion for spreading positive messages through their music. The group was formed on the cloudy Christmas Eve of 2011 in a small town east of Houston called Port Neches, Texas. Ben English (vocals), Logan Forrest (guitar), Keaton Goldwire (guitar), Caleb Sherraden (bass), and Trey Celaya (drums) came together through their mutual love of bands like Deftones, Underoath, and Norma Jean. They are heavily influenced by what these bands have to say and the way they carry themselves as musicians.

Invent, Animate are a highly energetic band that puts an unsullied look on the metalcore market. Their work is multi-dimensional and shows their ability to be very dynamic. Never fearful to be chaotic and crazy one minute, but then decelerate and bring a softer, more beautiful aspect the next. “We’re not afraid to slow it down, experiment with different vocal styles, and maybe even sing in a few parts,” says vocalist Ben English. In addition to performing at the South By So What?! festival, the group has shared the stages with Oh, Sleeper, Of Mice & Men, and Architects.

Invent, Animate recently signed with Tragic Hero Records and have plans to release their debut full-length Everchanger on 8/26/14.  “It's still so surreal to me,” says English. “Growing up, some of my favorite bands were a part of Tragic Hero, and I'm super excited to be a part of the family. The record that we've been pouring ourselves into for months is really going to be unlike anything we've done before. We're branching out and doing things that we've never done, and the outcome is really sounding incredible and we're super excited for everyone to hear it.”
