The Many Connections of X-Factor's Katie Waissel, or should that be Vogal?
- in Latest
The X-Factor finalist Katie Waissel is not a stranger to the music world. She has many sought after connections that none of the other finalists seem to have. As Lola Fontaine for example, she made a jazz album in the USA. As Katie Vogul and sometimes Katie V. she starred in a reality TV show sponsored by Coca Cola.
Her connections have lead her to be well known at Sony BMG, the record label that Simon Cowell works for.
“I went to Dave Massey’s office a couple days later and spent the entire day there! We went through all my music, we jammed on the guitar, he introduced me to his team! And at the end of the day, he told me he wanted me to come back out and perform at a venue in NYC for him and Sony.”
With acting, singing, and being well connected, Katie Waissel/Vogul/V/Lola Fontaine it is hard to imagine someone with this background and experience 'breaking down' in front of the camera.
What also makes many smell a rat, is Katie has now survived four sing offs, one of which was controversial as Cheryl Cole refused to vote which effectively cut the public vote out of the equation.
The X-Factor rolls on.
