Experimental metal act to release sophomore effort 'Derivae' in late October
The Italian progressive/experimental metal quartet NERO DI MARTE -- whose sophomore effort, "Derivae," will be released this fall -- have released a teaser video showcasing 45 seconds of new music along with the album's explosive cover art!
The artwork, also showcased above, was completed by designer Alex Eckman-Lawn who previously worked with the band on their 2013 self-titled debut. Guitarist/vocalist Sean Worrell commented, "The cover is meant to represent the claustrophobic, mysterious nature of the music. It's meant to suck you in and be all-engulfing."
