The Barbados born singer Rihanna is losing staff and the patience of record company bosses because of her ego.  It appears the star is proving too difficult to work with, and has her accolades grow so does her ego and with it her demands.

Many staff have left because of how difficult it is to work with the star, and recently  demanded a re-shoot on her $1m dollar video for the song ‘What’s my name?’ as she wanted to include the Canadian rapper Drake. A man she is believed to be romantically linked to. This has infuriated record company bosses as the costs involved were excessive.

Despite Rihanna’s claims that she fired her manager Marc Jordan, many believe that the man walked away due to Riahnna’s mood swings.  Apparently, arranging meetings at 2am in the morning were commonplace. Other factors were that she could be sweet one moment and then horrible the next. This has proved too much for many of her staff, who feel she is often deliberately difficult.

It is believed by many that she is caught up in her own hype, and this is fuelling her ego and her delusion of her own importance.
