After the extent of the boos on last weeks eviction show, Katie Waissel has expressed that they were gut wrenching to hear. Katie Waissel who seems to be cemented to the bottom two week in, week out, was saved by the public vote, after Simon Cowell took it to deadlock by giving her the nod, rather than Aiden Grimshaw.

The audience reaction however, was extreme booing. At one point, Konnie Huq was forced to intervene and called for order.

Katie Waissel, who is often the subject of headlines caused a stir when she broke down at the judges house section of the show, only to be taken on by Cheryl Cole who rejected what seemed at that stage, far more competent acts.

Since then, revelations have showed Katie Waissel has strong links to Sony BMG, Simon Cowell’s record label, and in various aliases, has cut albums and starred in TV reality shows.

This has obviously angered fans, and is one of the reasons she is subject to boos and negative votes.

Katie Waissel has been assigned extra protection this week following cyber death threats posted against her.

The X-Factor continues tonight, with Katie no doubt favourite to be in the bottom two.
