New York, New York - Halo Askew Entertainment is proud to announce the world wide release of Haunted Echo’s new single, “ShapeTracer,” from the upcoming EP of the same name.

“ShapeTracer” comes a year after their sophomore release, “Killing Galileo EP,” which gained the attention of MTV and Viacom Media Networks, resulting in a co-promotional sponsorship across the Viacom Network assets.  “ShapeTracer” ups the ante with hard hitting, catchy hooks and production values that surpass everything the band has released, well, in their history.

Kris “Halo” Pierce sites Butch Vig (Nirvana, Garbage), Bill Leeb (Frontline Assembly, Delerium), and Archive as major inspirations for the new material.  “I’ve always been a fan of Butch Vig’s mixing style where the hook just slams out hard and louder than the rest of the track.  Bill Leeb’s music has been in my life for over 20 years, so it’s a no brainer that his brand of electronic music would make its way into my music.”  But it was Archive that inspired the one aspect that’s always been given second shelf in the past: lyrics.  “I found Controlling Crowds [by Archive] and fell in love.  Their lyrics are so simple, yet seem to cut so deep.  I found myself wanting to sing more.”

The “ShapeTracer” single by Haunted Echo is available at Bandcamp, VampireFreaks, MTV, and everywhere else you buy digital music.
