Rihanna’s New Album Gets Loud
- in Latest
Rihanna’s latest release sees similarities with her older albums than her last one, which had quite deep undertones and dark themes. This, her fifth album in five years shows the 22 year old has a sensual side, with many of the tracks having sexual connotations.
In terms of musical styles the artists has experimented with more than just R and B and has created an album which touches upon dance, rap, rock, and on one track ska. This is a nice touch and keeps the album fairly potent.
Reviews have been largely positive and site Good Girl Gone Bad as a similar record. Despite Rihanna’s recent bad press about being difficult to work with and an ego expanding like her discography, Rihanna is churning out albums that are of high quality.
Guests on the album include Eminem and Canadian rapper Drake, the latter it has been suggested, that she is romantically linked to.
Rihanna’s next move will presumably to be to hire a new manager in the wake of the last one being sacked, or if rumours are to be believed walking out. Tours, follow ups, interviews all take time to organise.
Loud, was released on the 15/11/2010 and looks set to be the artists fifth success.
