Everyone's talking about the UK's invasion into the American music scene, but what they're NOT talking about (yet) is the huge Swedish influence that's currently in the marketplace. From the veteran, award-winning songwriter and producer Max Martin, electronic DJ Avicii, and pop artist Robyn, to electropop duo Icona Pop, and Top40’s newcomer Tove Lo, Sweden only continues to supply the world with the music industry’s game-changers. Introducing the newest export from Sweden, and newest import to your iTunes and artists-to-watch list: The Fooo Conspiracy.

The Fooo Conspiracy, consisting of Oscar “O.G.” Molander, Oscar Enestad, Omar Rudberg and Felix Sandman, is not your typical, run-of-the-mill boy band. While comparable to The Backstreet Boys or N’Sync, The Fooo Conspiracy re-introduces complex choreography with catchy lyrics set to pop and rhythmic beats.

Their beginnings as a band trace back to YouTube (only 1 year ago), where they posted videos of their guerilla-style performances on the streets of Stockholm. These videos quickly swept the internet, earning the group upwards of 2 million views across some of their first videos. The fast-growing fandom and local appeal led to the band opening for Justin Bieber's 2013 Believe Tour's three Swedish dates at the monstrous Ericsson Globe Arena (formerly Stockholm Globe), which holds over 13,000 people!

The Fooo Conspiracy recently won a Swedish Grammy for "Innovator of the Year," where they beat out notable, well-established acts like Avicii and The Veronicas. This award is given to the Swedish artist displaying the most creative, inspiring, and innovative ways to communicate and interact with their fans.

This talented and handsome group will be stateside from early October through mid November.
