About He Is Legend:

He Is Legend signed to Tragic Hero Records in 2009 to release It Hates You, an album that has garnered a cult like following. Shortly thereafter, the group decided to take a break. “Having the time off and being home and seeing a different side of life, it offers a great perspective,” says vocalist Schuylar Croom. “When you’re in a different city every night for 8-10 years and then you get to be home for two years it’s kind of a culture shock.” After a five year hiatus, they recruited drummer Sam Huff and had a new spark musically. They felt the time was right to record the long awaited fourth album Heavy Fruit with producer and ex-band member Mitch Marlow (Filter). “We have a lot of history with Mitch, him having been in our band at one point, and we know that with him we are going to get the kind of awesome fart sounds that we want on a new record and we will be completely at ease and comfortable,” says Croom. The record debuted on 8/19 at number one on the iTunes Metal chart and number three on the Rock chart.
