X-Factor judge and pop star Cheryl Cole was reduced to tears this week, when fashion guru Julien MacDonald ranted about her overall appearance. The party where the outburst occurred was hosted by Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding, and Cheryl Cole was reported to run from the room in tears.

Julien MacDonald is a judge on Britain’s Next Top Model, and guests at the party report that once the rant started it could not be stopped. He is reported to have said:

“What the f*** are you doing? Who are you trusting and who are you working with? What are you thinking?” and stated “she looks like s**t with red hair”. Julien MacDonald has designed dresses for Cheryl Cole in the past, and designed her outfit for the song “We’re gonna fight.”

The atmosphere after the outburst is said to have been one of shock, with many citing that the remarks were cruel and unnecessary.

With the rumours abound that Cheryl Cole has not landed the role of a judge in America, and her act Katie Waissel seemingly cemented to the bottom two and receiving death threats, it has not been a good week for the singer.

So far, Cheryl Cole has not received any kind of apology for Julien MacDonald’s comments.
