With so many celebrity stars being the victim of ‘love rats’, the question has to be asked is why? And if you’re asking why, you also need to see if there is a common theme to this all too common occurrence.

It is easy to understand the celebrity having their fun, as the impact of fame both on a star’s ego and frame of mind must be extreme. What is not so clear, is why when a man has a gorgeous wife, who earns lots of money, and clearly adores him, why then does he start an affair?

One of the reasons could be that he feels insecure, as the traditional role of provider is superfluous and, as their wives need to actively pursue a career, they may feel they are taking a back seat to it the relationship and marriage.

Another reason could be that though the star’s persona in front of the camera is a balanced, lovely, and charming individual, off camera, a more sinister demanding monster could be present. Everyone needs a punch bag, and this could be the dutiful husband or boyfriend.

If the latter is present, is it any wonder that so many of these women are victims to ‘love rats’?
