LOS ANGELES - As Top 40 stations around the country start adding their infectious debut single“Another Heartbreak” to their playlists, Hobart Ocean (www.hobartocean.com) is staying connected with their burgeoning fan base with the release of dynamic, multi-faceted new iPhoneand Google Play Apps.
The highly functional, sleekly designed free apps feature the latest news, audio music tracks (including “Another Heartbreak”), performance and personal band photos, videos, schedule of upcoming live performances, a “Fan Wall” for fan postings and interaction and links to all of Hobart Ocean’s social media sites.

Fans who subscribe to the mailer’s list in the app will receive details about Hobart Ocean’sMonthly App Rewards Program, in which the top three monthly App users determined by points earned will have the opportunity to win a prize. An App user is only allowed to win a first place prize once every twelve months. The App Rewards Program will officially begin November 1, 2014 and the prizes will be awarded in the first week of December 2014.
Currently, the band’s charismatic frontman Travis Leonard is headlining an exciting U.S. based promotional campaign for Yeo’s, a globally renowned multi-national corporation and drink manufacturer based in Singapore and Malaysia.
Leonard’s image is prominently featured on the company’s drinks in stores across North Americaand Asia, as well as on the U.S. Facebook page.
The four L.A. transplants that joined forces as Hobart Ocean have shared their infectious energy with thousands of fans this past year with regular performances at Universal CityWalk, one of L.A.’s premier entertainment and retail venues.
The high-energy band beat out more than 150 other acts to secure a regular performance slot, and at times have played for 5-10,000 people a night for over four hours. One of their performances caught the attention of Jay Hu, a onetime marketing manager at Jive Recordswho is now Managing Director of Swift Endeavor. He signed them as the upstart label’s flagship artist.
