Meditative Animal has put out the debut album Philosophical Gear on August 2, drawing on over a decade of songwriting.

The album is available online at iTunes, Amazon, and many other online retailers digitally.  Genre blending influences from classic rock to funk, folk to jazz, indie to alternative, all put together with a "timeless" original sound.  Nick Mirisola's music project features collaborations with various artists, including Chris Plummer, Tyler Allen, brother John Mirisola, Adam Schoff, Rachael Bodoci, Pete Concannon, and others.

The album was mastered by renowned master of mastering Phillip Klum of Phillip Klum Mastering, NYC.  One of the tracks on the album, Telescope Eyes, is being featured on Relix magazine's September sampler CD, and several tracks from the album are doing well on Jango internet radio, as well as are being picked up by radio stations and webzines in an independent publicity campaign.  Check them out and help spread the word about an independent artist on the rise.
