1D to become UK's biggest touring band – after Jason Orange leaves Take That

One Direction is set to become the UK's biggest touring act according to secondary ticketing marketplace Seatwave.
Seatwave researched trends in ticket demand for touring acts over the last couple of years and has predicted that One D will leapfrog Take That to become the UK's number one act, if as expected 1D extend their tour to the UK in 2015.
With Take That losing another band member, Seatwave expects ticket demand for the band to diminish. Meanwhile, ticket demand for 1D is expected to continue to grow.
A spokesperson for Seatwave said: "For the last five years Take That has been one of the UK's biggest touring acts, however, it is unclear whether they will continue to have the same appeal now that another member has quit the band.
"In stark contrast, One Direction is going from strength to strength. However, fortunes can change very quickly, particularly for boy bands – 1D will have to face down Aussie competition from 5 Seconds of Summer and British band The Vamps, both alleged to be touring in 2015. Take That are a lesson in durability, surviving the major loss of a Robbie Williams and staging a successful comeback. The 1D boys can learn a lot from Take That, even if they are about to assume their crown as the UK's top touring act."
