L.A. Native Rock Band Stickball Returns To The Stage For A 10 Year Reunion Show At The Viper Room On October 17, 2014
Los Angeles, CA… October 14, 2014- Los Angeles native Rock band Stickball is coming together again for a 10 year reunion show at the legendary Viper Room in West Hollywood. Stickball is a Los Angeles rock band formed in the late 90's by founding members Gary Wolf (vocals, guitar), Bret Hambrick (bass), and Abby Ball (drums). They've played every club in the LA scene from Silverlake to the heart of the Sunset strip. The reunion show is at 8PM on Friday October 17, 2014, tickets are available online.
Stickball gained their popularity from playing live shows all around Los Angeles at venues such as Spaceland, The Troubadour, The Whiskey, and The Viper Room with musical inspirations ranging from Led Zeppelin and David Bowie to Buffalo Tom and Poster Children. In 2000, Matt Collorafice joined as the new drummer and in 2001 Mike Smith joined as the lead guitarist. Adam Hamilton has played drums, guitar and bass in the band, and was the band's resident producer throughout. The newest member of Stickball is Steve Morton on lead guitar. He'll be performing with the band for its 10 year reunion show at The Viper Room.
A dear friend of Stickball, Sam Holden, was the inspiration for getting the band back together. After his passing this year, the guys got together and decided to pick up their instruments once again and do a show in Sam’s honor. Stickball is ready to rock the late 90’s straight into the new millennium!
