'Food Chain' solo EP coming November 4

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Sean Danielsen, guitarist/vocalist of veteran hard rock band, Smile Empty Soul, will release a new solo EP 'Food Chain' on November 4. Today, Danielsen has teamed up with Revolver to premiere a new track "Rescue Me" at: http://www.revolvermag.com/?p=67198.

"My new EP 'Food Chain' was a fun project for me because there were really no rules or boundaries I had to follow," Danielsen told Revolver. "My work with Smile Empty Soul is very free as well, but it does have to stay within the lines of the traditional 3-piece. With my solo stuff, I can just do whatever the song is calling for and take it to places Smile never goes.

"I chose the song 'Rescue Me' as the first single because I feel it's a very powerful song that a lot of people can relate to in this day and age. We live in an overly medicated society, and we all have people close to us being affected."

Unlike Danielsen's previous solo EP 'Enjoy the Process,' which released in 2013 and featured six acoustic tracks, 'Food Chain' will consist of five full-band songs recorded at Babyland Studios in Van Nuys, Calif.

"I think this EP has a nice blend of singer-songwriter, alternative, and rock," Danielsen continued. "I'm excited to be release it and hope people will give it a chance and check it out."

Danielsen has also confirmed a fall solo acoustic tour in support, beginning Halloween night in Houston, Texas.
