JLS band member Aston Merrygold, was left “freaked out” at the news that a female fan had broken into one of his apartment complexes. The singer, who was not present at the time, was told of the incident later in the day. Incidents of this kind seem to plague the band at the moment, with other members finding intruders in their homes.

Allegedly, the intruder climbed to the first floor balcony and entered his home through the window. By all accounts she had been following the singer earlier in the day, and entered his home after she saw him leave for rehearsals. She was discovered by Aston’s flatmate who raised the alarm.

News of the break in has prompted calls for extra security to be placed around the singer’s home, and for general security to be tightened. A source close to the singer, said that he shudders to think what might have happened should he have been at home when the incident happened. The apartment complex’s security apprehended the intruder and from that point it is unclear as to what happened to her.
