Wagner Loses to Arch Rival – The X Factor Management
- in Latest
In a somewhat predictable yet disappointing turn of events, Wagner has been evicted from the X-Factor. The Brazilian finalist lost in the sing – off unanimously to Mary. Prior to the sing – off, Katie Waissel, four time survivor of the sing – off, was evicted from the show due to it being double eviction night.
Wagner’s exit leaves just five finalists for next week’s show, Matt Cardle, Cher Lloyd, Mary Byrne, One Direction and Rebecca Fergerson. It is fairly predictable that Mary Byrne will not make it through to the following round next week, due to her age and lack of teen appeal. Sad as it is. She has by far a better understanding of the emotional connection between singer and music than any other current finalist.
The double eviction meant that X-Factor management had a double chance to get Wagner off the show and, they took it.
Now the entertaining Brazilian has gone, a more predictable show can now ensue. Simon Cowell said that it put the show back in the hands of the public now that Wagner had gone, and made claims that people for whatever reason were trying to derail the show by campaigning for the Brazilian.
This is curious as he never levelled the accusation at Cheryl Cole for refusing to vote a few weeks before which resulted in the public being disregarded in the sing off. The X-Factor continues next weekend.
