Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber earns $300,000 per gig, at least according to Thesmokinggun.com. This figure puts the Bieber far ahead of his contemporaries. The rap star Drake earns $155,000, Jordin Sparks $75,000, and Selena Gomez $100,000. He also trumps established stars, Bret Michaels $64,000, Sheryl Crow $146,500, and Weezer $150,000.

Justin Bieber came to notice after posting Youtube videos of himself performing classic tracks by Stevie Wonder and the like. After signing for Defjam records, and under the mentorship of Usher, Bieber has gone from strength to strength and become a world wide success.

Recently, the young singing sensation won AMA Artist of the Year Award, and honoured his promise to do a lot of work for charity, by donating part of the proceeds from one of his album, My World, to the charity, Children’s Miracle Network, a charity that helps hospitalised children across the USA.

The star has had a busy year with an autobiography release charting the seventeen year olds first sixteen years of existence, and an imminent perfume release, which is presumably designed to make his female fans smell better.

Justin Bieber has also made a movie which has been shot in 3D, and will be released early next year.
