Fiverr has grown in popularity and has recently become a good resource to promote your music to gain extra exposure. Fiverr is an easy to use nifty website which allows members to sign up free and contact 'sellers' who advertise simple yet effective advertising means or services. The best part about it, is that everything is $5.

With a current Alexa rank of 599, it puts the Website in the top 1000 websites in the world. So how can an unsigned band or artist use it?

Well, for starters there are various members advertising the use of Facebook groups. You basically sign up free, request the service and after a few hours, more than likely have your message or link sent to thousands of new people for a modest fee of $5. The services offered would be a great deal more if offered by a business or promoter.

The same applies for Twitter accounts too. Its a great way to reach new fans or listeners. Also its a good way to develop a bigger fan base to your own 'fan' page, as many will suggest new people too.

In addition to Facebook and Twitter promotion methods, there are also many services which will make videos, promotional Youtube material and more. Another good way is to take advantage of people offering university radio show 'shout outs'. There are quite a few services offering radio exposure too.

Not all services offered are going to be effective, however the majority could have a good impact on your music gaining extra exposure. You can even try some of the various offline advertising means people are offering too. Example: 'A person walking round New York all day with your bands name on them' etc.

Its worth checking out user reviews to see how others rate the services before ordering. All you need is a Paypal account and you can order in dollars from the UK saving with the exchange rate too.
