Richmond, Virginia (US) - Just returning from a regional tour, independent recording artist 'The J.O.B.' are taking no time off to rest while their newest single 'Red Eye' is moving up the adult contemporary music charts in the United States. 'Red Eye' debuted at #146 on the FMQB Top 200 and has been steadily climbing. It is the band's third single to appear on the AC Top 200 Chart, with two previous songs achieving Top 40 status in 2012 and 2013.

The new rock single 'Red Eye' is accompanied by a high-energy music video. It features The J.O.B. rocking live aboard a fabled party bus transporting the band and friends to points unknown. 'Red Eye' is a pre-release from the band's 5th album currently in production and scheduled to drop next February. Home only 2 weeks from their last tour, they are already in the planning stages for a long distance Spring tour slated for April of 2015.

"Red Eye is about cutting away the bonds that keep us tied down, about starting over with fresh energy and hope," said the band's frontman and manager Jim O'Ferrell. A former Infantry soldier and veteran of the Iraq War, O'Ferrell has found his military experience to be a great asset for a music career. "There really is a lot of crossover from being a platoon sergeant to managing a rock band," he mused.  The J.O.B. is a four piece band with Jason Crawford on the electric guitar, Len DuPilka on the bass, Eric Bandy on the drummer's throne, and O'Ferrell as the singer & acoustic guitar player.

When asked to describe the new single, O'Ferrell said, "It is a straight forward, high energy, fast-driving rock song. It's the kind of tune you crank up on a wide stretch of open road with the top down and the gas pedal on the floor."
