DC Vinyl Label Cricket Cemetery Release Highway Cross "Open Eyes" 7" and Video
- in Latest
Arlington, Virginia's Highway Cross will release a new 7" called "Open Eyes" and the video of the same name through the underground DC vinyl label Cricket Cemetery. The band plays no BS, razor sharp punk rock that will please fans of labels like Sympathy for the Record Industry and Swami and bands like Drive Like Jehu.
Toxic Pop Records described their last release: "loud, crunchy, angular riffs backed by pounding, driving rhythms. Their debut 7" was self-released and certainly piqued our interest, but this follow up really finds the band settling into their own sound which takes the aforementioned influences and shapes them into something uniquely borne by these four fine gentleman."
They'll celebrate in DC on December 13th - learn more here: https://www.facebook.com/events/648425065277998/
The 7" will be released on colored vinyl in limited quantities before it converts to black vinyl, the packaging is deluxe. It is their third release to date.
The video for the title track is also out now!
