Just when it looked like her American dream was in shatters, Cheryl Cole bounced back to land the coveted role as an X-Factor USA judge. The new show which is set to launch next year, seemed it was just a dream for the Geordie singer. Now it appears, the tables have turned and she has landed the role.

Rather than pats on the back, it has left two of the other judges reportedly fuming that Cheryl Cole has been allowed to leave for LA in the middle of a show. Louis Walsh, reportedly said “It takes three security guards just to escort her ego”, with a further report from Danni Minogue claiming, ““It’s one rule for her and another for the rest of us.”

There seems to be some credence to the reports, as it further claims that both Danni Minogue and Luis Walsh would rather push One Direction if they feel that one of Cheryl’s acts looks likely to do well. They would rather see a smug Simon Cowell than see Cheryl Cole win again. Both judges are fans of the boys.

Simon Cowell is believed to be making an announcement soon, about the new show.
