For 2Four, All Music and Efforts Point to Creating a Cult Following

Electro hop phenom 2Four dedicates his time and talents to amassing a loyal cult following, most recently including the release of his latest EP, Intergalactic, and the time he spends connecting with fans online.
When it comes to Nashville electro hop artist 2Four, it’s not just about the music—it’s about the fans too. In De’Andre “2Four” Davis’ mind, what is music without the dedicated cult following to love and support it? Between writing and producing his music, which is sometimes compared to Lupe Fiasco, Drake and Travis McCoy, and other efforts to reach out to these fans, 2Four demonstrates his commitment to those who share and download his music.
The four-track EP Intergalactic (2014), featuring DJ Majestik, is 2Four’s latest music release, and it is a focused blend of the finer points of both hip-hop and electronica—or as NeuFutur Magazine describes it, “hard-nosed EDM and club-ready R&B.” Music blog Fresh Hype calls the recording “a fast-paced, fist-pumping EP [that] shows that two genres can mix seamlessly.” These are just two of the many indie music outlets who have picked up on the talent and potential 2Four brings to the table. They then share that excitement with their audiences to help 2Four attract the following he’s been looking for.
Besides sharing his music with the masses, 2Four fosters a cult vibe and sense of community among his listeners through avid social media interaction. He tweets to his followers multiple times a day, sharing photos, offerings from his company Juggernaut 24 Entertainment and updates on where his music can be heard playing live. Most recently, this has included audio appearances on Miami’s Coast 2 Coast Radio, which is powered by the largest DJ coalition in the world. Keeping his fans updated on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other social media networks has enabled him to connect with his targeted audience and develop relationships with them that signed artists can’t always do.
His music career successes stretch back before his more recent radio features. He created a song for nationally broadcasted talk show 3HL 104.5 Nashville. He performed at downtown Nashville’s world-famous B.B. King’s Blues Club. He also performed at Hard Rock Café in his hometown. But the road to indie fame started still long before these earlier accomplishments with a dedication to music and studio work since a young age. Ever since, his primary goal has been to create the music floating around his mind, inspired by the positive and negative everyday events in the world around him, and find the exact crowd of listeners and fans who love and appreciate his music.
From here, it’s up to the loyal following 2Four’s worked so hard for to spread the word about this hot new indie artist. It’s only a matter of time before his efforts have paid off.
