A stunt accident to 23 year old Samuel Kock has resulted in Justin Bieber cancelling his scheduled appearance on German TV show Wetten Dass. Samuel Kock was attempting to jump a car while wearing spring loaded stilts called “powerblocks”, when he was struck by the car, which, was driven by the stuntman’s father.
The stuntman is reported to be in a critical condition after surgery, but is not believed to be in a life threatening situation.
Justin Bieber, tweeted, "Just want to let my people in Germany know I won't be on 'Wetten Dass..?' tonight as an accident has taken place and we all don't think it is right to continue. ... Please pray for Samuel Koch & his family as we wait and hope for his health and safety. I'm sorry we couldn't perform tonight but some things are more important than putting on a show."
Wetten Dass is a popular and long running TV show of 30 years, and commands an audience of 10 million per week. Robbie Williams and Phil Collins were also scheduled to appear with the young singing sensation.
No doubt Justin Bieber will be appearing later in the year.
