The Steepwater Band, a blaring rock 'n' roll group from the windy city, has released a music video for the single, Silver Lining, off of their upcoming album Diamond Days: The Best of The Steepwater Band 2006-2014, to be digitally released on February 17th, and coupled with a physical release on March 3rd, on Sun Pedal Recordings (Warner Music Group) "...it's a perfect introduction to where we are heading musically, " laments vocalist Jeff Massey. This "best of" collection will feature eight remastered tracks, along with the new single and a new recording of an old fan favorite, Hard As Stone. A vinyl release is scheduled for April of 2015 and all is currently available for pre-order, along with limited merch, exclusive to this release.

In addition to the premiere of their music video, The Steepwater Band is currently on a 20 date tour, starting in Newport, KY on February 5th, and ending on May 23rd in Indianapolis, IN. The Steepwater Band has also been invited to play the Highberry Festival in Ozark Pa in July, with Railroad Earth, Keller Williams, and more.

About The Steepwater Band:
Formed in Chicago back in 1998, The Steepwater Band’s signature sound is a nod to early British blues, combined with a modern, raw and gutsy musical approach. Founding members Jeff Massey (Vocal, Guitar), Tod Bowers (Bass), and Joseph Winters (Drums) have a synergy that comes from years of playing together. In early 2012, they found the same spark when the long-time trio was joined by Eric Saylors (Guitar, Backing Vocal), who brought an added depth to the live sound. The band has maintained a grueling schedule throughout the last 16 years, averaging about 140 shows per year. After touring and sharing the stage with acts such as Gov't Mule, Buddy Guy, and Cheap Trick they signed to Sun Pedal Recordings to release Diamond Days: The Best of The Steepwater Band 2006-2014. The compilation will be released in early 2015 and features tracks spanning the band’s entire independent career including a re-recorded version of the fan favorite “Hard As Stone” and a new track called "Silver Lining.”
