The adopted son of the star David Gilmour has been involved in the student riots in London. The 21 year old was pictured controversially swinging off a Union Jack flag attached to the war memorial statue.

In addition the student also carried out several other demonstrations wearing a scarf and latex gloves to try and hide his identity.

Charlie Gilmour has now been arrested and is held by police.

Many are up in arms as Charlie's father Dave Gilmour is estimated of having a wealth of around 80million. Pink Floyd star David Gilmour had no comment to make about this yesterday
