Following Haley William’s version of events that led to the departure of Josh Farro and his brother Zac left the band, the former has written extensively on his reasons why they left the band, Paramore on December 18th.

Farro, writing in his blog Joshnfarro.blogspot.com, stated that he felt “compelled” to respond to Haley William’s version of events, stating that he "did not think Hayley's [Williams] version [of the reasons he and brother Zac left] told the whole story".

He goes on to write, "It was suggested that we were hired guns and Hayley was the real artist, when in reality we were also part of the band. We've always been treated as less important than Hayley."

Farro also states opinions on Paramore’s management where he feels that Haley Williams is subject to their manipulations and is not thinking for herself.

On release of the blog post, there was confusion as to whether the post was genuine. However, Farro’s wife confirmed that the post was written by the guitarist on her blog, Jennalfarro.blogspot.com

Paramore has had a successful year and are nominated in next year’s Grammy Awards. The band has had a relentless year of touring throughout 2010, and scored chart success when one of their songs was featured in one of the Twilight films.

Haley Williams, prior to the guitarists leaving the band, announced that they will take a break before recording a new album “at home.”

Presumably, these plans will be shelved while the band sources replacements for Josh and Zac Farro.
