Fans have had another taste of the upcoming Lady Gaga single “Born This Way” as the colourful singer posted the full lyrics to the keenly awaited new single via a tweet.

The Bad Romance singer tempted fans by first tweeting “Are you ready for the full lyrics?! Can we trend#bornthiswaylyrics!? It has been in my heart for over a year. I'm so excited to share it.”

On reading the lyrics to the new song by the queen of pop many fans are predicting that “Born This Way” will become an anthem for the homosexual community.

The chorus to the song reads “I am beautiful in my way, 'Cause God makes no mistakes. I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way.”

Sir Elton John told Entertainment Weekly that “Born This Way” is the new gay anthem. He said: “This is the new “I Will Survive”. That was the gay anthem. This is the new gay anthem. Actually it's not a gay anthem, it can apply to anybody.”

The fans have been in for a long wait to hear the song after Lady Gaga first performed a couple of bars at the MTV music awards. She followed this by then revealing the art work and has now almost completed the reveal with this latest tweet.

Lady Gaga also tweeted the full credits for the song which was written by Lady Gaga; produced by Lady Gaga, DJ White Shadow and Fernando Garibay and engineered and mixed by David Russel.

Now all that remains is for Lady Gaga to finally put all the elements together to let the fans hear the song in full.
