Chris Brown asks for Rihanna order to be lifted

Chris Brown has asked for a restraining order against him held by Rihanna to be lifted.
The singer was given five years probation and a further six months worth of community service after he was found guilty of assaulting Rihanna back in 2009.
Currently the restraining order prohibits Chris Brown from being within 100 yards of the Umbrella singer but he wants this removed to make it easier for the pair to be able to attend award ceremonies at the same time.
The lawyer for Chris Brown, Mark Geragos, is reported to have asked Judge Patricia Snegg of the Los Angeles Superior Court to lift the order after Brown successfully completed 52 weeks of domestic violence therapy.
While the order has yet to be lifted the judge said: “Out of thousands of probationers, no one has done a better or more consistent job than you have, and I really want to commend you for taking the responsibility and actually working diligently to complete all the things the court has required of you.”
Rihanna's lawyer David Etra will now be given the chance to go over the suggested modifications to the restraining order suggested by the judge.
He said that he would be speaking with Rihanna about her feelings concerning the changes and that any decision they made would be filed in the court at a later date not yet confirmed.
