A long time ago in the heady party days of 1987 George Michael, formerly of “Wham!” fame, released “Faith”, an album that would go down in the history books as the moment George Michael became a solo star in his own right.

Now, decades later, the chart topping album which includes such greats as “Careless Whisper” is back in the shops and available to download for an entire new generation of fans.

At the time of its original release “Faith" was a serious undertaking for George Michael who not only wrote all the tracks on the album but he also produced, arranged and even played several instruments on this breakthrough record of the time.

A nod towards the controversy of the future can be seen in a number of the songs including the first track “I want Your Sex” while “Careless Whisper” has become a slow dance favourite at legions of weddings.

Currently “Faith” has sold more than 25 million copies worldwide and produced four number one hit singles in the US where it also on a Grammy award and is now available in a number of formats with various bonuses including an extended version complete with a 100 minute DVD.
