Lady Gaga, Pink and Mariah Carey against fur

Three of the biggest names in pop; Lady Gaga, Pink and Mariah Carey, have joined forces in their support for pro animal rights organisation PETA.
The trio are due to all appear on a billboard which is due to be revealed to the public on february 2 in LA on the corner of Sunset Blvd and La Brea Avenue.
Gossip Cop site broke the news and a spokesman for “People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals” better known around the globe as PETA said: “With award season upon us, we wanted to show three strong, diverse women who are vehemently anti-fur.”
Lady Gaga has previously come under fire from PETA for her infamous “meat dress” but appears to be making amends with this latest billboard advert which will hit LA just before the Grammy Awards ceremony.
In a statement PETA said that Gaga has always had an “unwavering stance” on being anti-fur adding “Gaga's out-there outfits never include fur. Last year she wore a dress made of fluffy Kermit the Frog dolls, (she) explained, “I thought it was commentary on not wearing fur because I hate fur and don't wear fur.”
Mariah Carey is known for her feelings against fur and once famously donated two full length sable coats she had been given to PETA who then gave them to homeless women in winter.
Pink, meanwhile, recently co starred with Ricky Gervais in PETA's “Stolen for Fashion” video and has reportedly criticised Beyonce for wearing fur in the past.
