Although it may feel like Lady Gaga, her catchy tunes and outrageous outfits have always been around but in reality it is only three years ago that she hit our TV screens and radio waves with hits such as “Let's Dance”.

Lady Gaga decided to show the world her more humble beginnings in the music industry by taking a film crew to her old apartment in New York where she lived for three years before hitting the charts and becoming an international name.

However, while many are unable to say no to the star, the current occupant kept the door firmly closed and said that they did not want any cameras when Lady Gaga and a film crew from “60 Minutes” turned up at the door as part of a special show about the “Poker Face” star.

Gaga had planned to show the host of the primetime show, Anderson Cooper, around the apartment but had to be content with showing him the outside of the front door instead.
The special show about Lady Gaga is due to be aired on “60 Minutes” on February 13 to coincide with the release of her latest single “Born This Way” also out on the same day but Gaga has since revealed that the song will be available for fans earlier on February 11.

Lady Gaga tweeted : “Can´t wait any longer, single coming Friday”.
