“Never Say Never” the bio-pic movie from Justin Bieber has come in at number two at the US box.

The concert documentary film featuring the singing star and his concert at Madison Square Garden took $30.2 million over the weekend placing it a number two just behind the Adam Sandler movie “Just Go With It” which took $30.5 million.

In a week which has seen Justin Bieber being pipped to the post not only at the box office but also at the Grammy Awards which saw him fail to walk away with a golden gramophone, the Bieber film has only come in second place in the race to being the number one concert movie.

Miley Cyris retains her title as her film “Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour” took $31 million over its opening weekend, the best ever opening weekend for a concert movie.

While “Never Say Never” may not have broken any records yet Disney actress Selena Gomez has it given it the thumbs up.

The actress, who is rumoured to be dating Justin Bieber told Ryan Seacrest at the Grammy Awards that she thought the documentary was both entertaining and “relatable”.

She said: “I loved it. I liked it because it wasn't a concert movie – it was a documentary. I really liked how they told his story – he was relatable. And it was funny too! It kept me entertained the whole time.”

Meanwhile, some Justin Bieber fans have expressed their dissatisfaction that Justin lost out to jazz star Esperanza Spalding at the Grammy Awards.

Comments, that have since been removed, on the Wikipedia page for Esperanza Spalding insulted the singer and included death threats after she pipped Bieber to the post at the awards.

Justin Bieber was taking the loss more graciously and said: “I had no clue what was going to happen; I worked really hard these past few years and you know I'm not going to lie – I was disappointed.”

He hugged Esperanza Spalding backstage and said that he hoped he would come out with an award in the future.
