Italy, November 18, 2016 - Dynamic husband and wife duo release their pop/urban self-titled single "Reach". The duo, formerly known as "Elle Deva" debut the change of their band name and reveal their new look, "our true look" says the duo.
The single "Reach" will be the first track of the EP on a soundtrack of a soon to be published novel, written by singer/songwriter Lauren-Joy. Seeing music in words and image, it felt like the perfect way to touch on a new genre and express the novel itself through music.
"Reach" formerly known as Elle Deva, was formed eight years ago when Italian guitarist Michele met singer/songwriter Lauren in South Africa. The two have been working together ever since, taking inspiration from their diverse musical backgrounds. Using the fact that they are culturally diverse as an advantage, making them limitless in their creative process, and even harder placing them under one genre. Emil Panzov from Filter Label has been in the studio with the duo and says:
“Michele and Lauren are a pleasure to work with. Not only, they are extremely talented musicians, they also have a very professional approach to their art. I am sure that these qualities combined with their dedication will lead them to big things in the near future.”
Showing no signs of stopping, the duo has written with multiple artists, and are now producing and writing for many more. With the hope of not only experimenting with other genres of music, yet also to develop artists and keep creating and collaborating.
Driven to move forward, they hope to continually make music that reaches a vast market, determined to make music for every kind of listener.
They plan on staying true to themselves.
