It is rumoured that Hollywood actress Glenn Close will be taking up the role of Susan Boyle in an upcoming film about the Britain's Got Talent star.

With her international fan base and requests for performances from everyone including the Pope during his first state visit to the UK film executives have deemed her famous enough to need a bio pic about her life to be created about her rise to fame.

A source told The Sun: “The film is full steam ahead now the leading role is sorted. It was always going to be a tricky one to cast. SuBo's incredible story as so well known across the planet that the film is bound to go don a storm:”

The source added: “Glenn has played some imposing women in the past inclusing Cruella de Vil and Alex Forrest, who boils the pet rabbit in Fatal Attraction. But SuBo might just be her biggest role yet.”

The inside source continued to tell The Sun that Susan Boyle had initially asked the star of Rab C Nesbitt, Elaine C Smith, to play her in the film however film executives thought that a Hollywood star name would be a better fit for the role.

No announcement as to who would fill the role of Simon Cowell has yet to be made nor confirmation of a possible release date for the eagerly anticipated film.
