Chris Brown restraining order eased

Chris Brown will now be able to come within 10 yards of his former girlfriend Rihanna after a judge relaxed the restraining order against him which previously state he had to be more than 50 yards away from the “S&M” singer.
A judge in Los Angeles made the ruling after Rihanna said that she did not object to the removal of part of the original restraining order which was brought in after Chris Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna in February 2009.
The ruling means that the pair will effectively now be able to speak to each other and even perform on the same stage, although it will have to be quite a large stage!
Chris Brown was praised by Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg who said that the 21 year old singer was continuing to make progress in completing the physical labour parts of his probation scheme.
However, Brown was warned that Rihanna has the right to record any threatening conversations he may have with her and these are allowed to be presented in court as evidence against him.
An update on how the new restraining order is going will take place back in court on June 22 with the court order to remain in place until August 2014 when his probation period is due to finish.
Any threatening behaviour, assaults or tracking of the movements of Rihanna could be seen as being in violation of his probation and the period would be altered to take into consideration any of these possible actions.
