Liam Gallagher doesn't rule out Oasis reunion
- in Latest
On the day of the release of the album “Different Gear, Still Speeding” by Beady Eye, Liam Gallagher's new band, he has claimed that a reunion of Oasis is a definite maybe.
The famed other brother of top British indie act Oasis, had previously said that there would be no chance of Oasis reforming however during an interview with Thequietus.com he has backtracked and said that a reunion could not be ruled out.
When Liam was asked what his reaction would be if Oasis were asked to get back together in the future for big money he said: “I'm not going to say “never” but at the moment no f****** chance.”
He added: “But it wouldn't be for the money mate. I like to think that if we did get back together – which we f****** won't – but if we did then it would be for the fans. It would be for the people and music and not for the f****** money.”
Meanwhile, the long standing feud between himself and his brother Noel may be coming to an end, at least for now.
Liam said: “There's a lot of people involved in it – without mentioning any names- but I don't feel the need to go round to his f****** house and have the door slammed in my face.”
He added: “There's no encouragement from any parties whereas if there was then it would get sorted.”
While Liam is embarking on his solo career he believes his brother has already managed to complete the recording of his own solo project.
“I reckon he's written it. He's probably going down that Radiohead thing – it's probably out already! He's definitely written it, he's been in the studio for ages. So I don't know what he's talking about,” Liam told XFM.
He added that he would be “interested to hear it, to see if I'm on it in the background somewhere.”
