While Justin Bieber may appear to have the perfect life, behind the scenes things seem to be less than rosy for the teen singing sensation as The Mirror newspaper reports about the “war” being waged by his parents.

According to the newspaper Justin's mother Pattie Mallette and his father Jeremy Bieber are fighting over the singer and his fame and fortune.

A family friend of the Bieber's told The Mirror: “Pattie is forever sniping that she gave up everything for Justin and she should be the person making the decisions. Jeremy, meanwhile, wants to be at the centre of his son's life. He hates the way other men, especially Usher and Will Smith, are acting as father figures.”

The source added: “Pattie was only 17 when she found out she was pregnant. Jeremy was a year older and a real bad boy. They split up when Justin was a tiny baby, but thy have been fighting ever since. They both made a big effort for Justin's sake. But they don't agree with the way the other wanted to bring him up.”

While things may be rocky at home it had been reported earlier that Justin is looking to turn his father into a rap star in a bid to help him to “sort his life out”.
