Liam Gallagher may have been grabbing all the headlines this week with his rants about his brother, reforming Oasis and Radiohead, however it seems to not have been enough for the mouthy singers new band Beady Eye as they are lagging in the album charts at the midweek point.

Brit Awards darling Adele remains on top today (Wednesday) with her latest album 21 still in the number one position in the UK album chart while her debut album 19 is still riding high at number

four.

The new album from Beady Eye, “Different Gear Still Speeding” has only managed to make it to the number three spot at the midweek point with Jessie J and her new album “Who You Are” currently sitting in the number two spot.

Other new entries in the Album chart top ten include Clare Maguire with her release “Light After Dark” at number six on Wednesday and Alexis Jordan with the album of the same name sitting in the number eight position.

Adele is also still proving to be one of the most popular artists of the moment with her single “Someone Like You” remaining at number one in the UK singles chart and “Rolling In The Deep” at number four in the chart.

The singles in the top ten remain relatively unchanged at the moment with Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Rihanna and Jessie J all continuing their run of current success.
