It has been only two weeks since ten year old Maria Aragon posted a video of herself singing her version of the Lady Gaga hit “Born This Way” and after 18 million hits she has a new fan in Lady Gaga herself.

When first seeing the YouTube video Lady Gaga tweeted: “Can't stop crying watching this. This is why I make music. She is the future.”

During the Lady Gaga concert in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre on March 3 Lady Gaga performed her latest single with Maria who sat on her knee at the piano.

Before the show Lady Gaga tweeted: “Myself+10 year Old Lady Maria of Winnipeg. She signed my t-shirt, she ate my heart, just like you.”

The tween singer not only performed with the star she also addressed the crowd leading to Lady Gaga crying on stage at the emotional scenes.

During the concert Lady Gaga told the audience in Toronto: “Maria represents what this song is all about. It's all about the next generation and the future.”

Similarities are being drawn between Maria and another young star who was found through YouTube – Justin Bieber.

Bieber has been guided through the pop world by his mentor Usher and it looks like Lady Gaga is moving in the same direction with Maria especially as she has already signed 14 year old Greyson Chance, who shot to fame after his cover of “Paparazzi” on YouTube grabbed the worlds attention.
