US singer and mother of twins Jennifer Lopez has shown she still has what it takes with her new video for “On the Floor” premiering on the American Idol television talent show.

Host of American Idol, Ryan Seacrest was suitably impressed by the video which shows Jennifer Lopez switching between a revealing body suit to a bra top and harem trousers to a formal gold dress.

“On the Floor” is the lead single from the upcoming album from Jennifer Lopez due out on April 19 and entitled “Love?”.

The single is already at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week and marks a return to form for the “Jenny from the block” singer who last had a top ten hit back in 2003 with her single “All I Have” featuring LL Cool J.

This latest offering from J Lo sees her collaborating with Pitbull for an up tempo song with a definite Latin feel and has been released just as Jennifer Lopez finds new fame being the only female judge on the American Idol show.

And the synchronised release of the video on American Idol with a digital release of the single by her record label Island Def Jam seems to have had the desired affect as this song now becomes Jennifer Lopez's tenth top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
