“Blood on our Hands” song video released by Pastor Peter Unger – Tribute to Florida Shootings
- in Latest
In the recent wake of the Florida school shootings, Pastor Unger leaned to his guitar and started playing it as a way of working through the strong emotions he was feeling.
There are strong and similar connections between Pastor Unger's music, and the many years of writing and performing songs in various worship settings. This surely gives him an advantage when it comes to producing music.
His recent video for "Blood on our Hands", is his own effort to spread the word about the horrific shootings in Florida, and to express his strong feelings and emotions through the song.

Pastor Unger picked up his guitar and started playing it as a way of working through the strong emotions he was feeling. Unexpectedly the song in this video was written.
Pastor Unger is well aware that the pain and loss of the victim's loved one's is unfathomable. It is his hope that this song and video will add to the growing chorus of voices crying out for such violence to end. First among those voices are the courageous survivors who are helping to lead this protest.
It is Pastor Unger's prayer that this rising tide of voices will finally overcome all secondary considerations to the safety of our children, and that of other victims of such violence. The right to life is the preeminent right we all share.
“If we are not willing to do whatever it takes to protect those most vulnerable among us what does that say about our culture.” - Pastor Unger
