One of the most prestigious Chilean orchestras, the 'Marga Marga Orchestra', based in the region of Valparao in CHILE, awarded the composer ANDERSEN VIANA with 1st place in the 'IV International Composition Competition', sponsored by the National Council of Culture and Arts, Government of Chile.

The work for string orchestra named 'SINFONIA AMERDIA' by Andersen Viana was the great winner among four finalists and works sent from all over the world.

The SINFONIA AMERDIA brings together western musical elements through personal musical procedures - using various ecological and musical aspects such as: sonorities of animals and forest inhabitants, environmental sounds, fauna, the ecological poem n1, etc. - while seeking an affirmation of an artistic multiculturalism that can be universally understood.

The great final took place on December 28, 2017 at the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center in Villa Alemana, in the region of Valparao, CHILE, only now available on the orchestra's website.
