Burning Codes new single “Loss Leader” will be released with Nub Music on 06.04.18. The single features Iain Archer ( Grammy nominee & Ivor Novello, James Bay, Snow Patrol, Liam Gallagher, Jake Bugg… ) on guitars, bass and keys and Iain also mixed the song with Jack Karnacz-Pollitt on drums.
 
Burning Codes’s last single was " Belfast - Place Of My Soul" featured Terri Hooley ( Good Vibrations Records / Undertones " Teenage Kicks " ), Nathan Connolly of Snow Patrol on guitars and Paul's brother Iain Archer also mixed the single.
 
Burning Codes new song "Loss Leader" explores the themes of loss, resilience, the love of creativity sound and art and how art and creativity along with expression have potential transformative effects on many levels.

Burning Codes is the solo project of Irish, Belfast born singer and songwriter Paul Archer ( Paul also contributed vocals to five tracks on Snow Patrol’s multi-platinum ‘Eyes Open’ album ).

The project also includes various sonic collaborators including Iain Archer ( Grammy nominated and Ivor Novello winning singer and songwriter - James Bay, Snow Patrol, Jake Bugg, Tired Pony, Liam Gallagher…) and Nathan Connolly of Snow Patrol and Jonny Quinn of Snow Patrol, both of whom have contributed to Archer’s Burning Codes releases.

Paul’s music has been featured on BBC Radio One evening Session, BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Cambridgeshire and many other radio stations locally and nationally as well as independent radio in Europe.

Paul’s songs have also been featured on CBS Hollywood movie “ Aquaman - Mercy Reef ” 2006 ( produced by Smallville series producers Alfred Gough & Miles Millar and featuring Justin Hartley, Ving Rhames and Lou Diamond Phillips ) and Michael Lennox movie “ A Patch Of Fog ” 2015.
