Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding has revealed that she is currently working on her own solo material and finding her own solo sound.
The newly brunette singer, who was pictured partying at her engagement party to Tom Cranbe earlier this week, has said that she is working on her own material but that nothing is ready for release just yet.
Sarah Harding said: “It's baby steps. It's not something I want to put out there until it's good enough really.”
She added: “I'm still trying to find my direction. I'm just a bit of an all over the spectrum kind of girl, I love all sorts of music, so it's really finding something that's current and suited o me and something that I am going to enjoy as well.”
As to whether she and the rest of the girls of Girls Aloud would be getting back together anytime in the future, Sarah was non committal: “You'd have to ask all of us! Never say never.”
It had been rumoured that the members, including X factor darling Cheryl Cole, would be getting back together as a band to celebrate a decade in the business in 2012.
Speaking about her time in Girls Aloud, which saw her and the others plucked from obscurity on the TV talent show, Popstars: The Rivals, she said: “It's kind of a bit of a blur, it's one really quickly in some ways when I look back to when t all began. And there are other days on video shoots that took 24 hours they feel like the longest day of your life.
“It's a achievement, definitely. We're very proud.”
