Elle Exxe has released the video for her highly acclaimed all-women produced feminist anthem ‘Queen’.
FEATURING FANS, ATHLETES AND TV PERSONALITIES INCLUDING CLARE BALDING, REBECCA ADLINGTON, GABBY LOGAN, BETH TWEDDLE AND MORE
The video pulls together homemade footage from her female fans, which includes famous athletes, gold medal winning paralympians, Olympians and TV personalities such as Clare Balding, Beth Tweddle, Gabby Logan, Rebecca Adlington, Hannah Crockfort, Menna Fitzpatrick, Jennifer Keho and many more all celebrating their empowerment and success along to Elle Exxe’s triumphant pop anthem.
Regarding the video Elle Exxe says, “I’m so proud of the ‘Queen’ video, I can’t watch it without crying tears of happiness. The song came out of a moment where I felt alone and had a lot of self-doubt, I was down and I had to kick my ass and get back up. To get back up with this song and have all these incredible inspiring ladies show their belief in me by getting involved with the video, it just feels amazing. I’m so thankful for everyone who took part; they’re showing the world what female unity looks like. Empowering.”
Speaking about the video and her involvement Clare Balding says, “It was great to be involved in such a powerful and uplifting anthem alongside all of these amazing ladies.”
‘Queen’ was mastered by Katie Tavini (Skepta, Sonic Boom Six, The Charlantans) and mixed by Olga Fitzroy (Dua Lipa, Coldplay, Sophie Ellis-Bextor).
The Scottish singer has recently been touring the US in support of the new single, which included two shows at SXSW. Elle Exxe will be playing in London on May 10th at Oslo, Hackney with Little Big. Tickets are available through Alt Tickets.
